Assistant Principal Maycan Tomlin

Hi, I'm Maycan Tomlin. I am an assistant principal at Mineral Wells Junior High. 

 

I am a Mineral Wells High School graduate (proud alumni here!), and after high school, I received my Bachelor's degree from Tarleton State University in Interdisciplinary Studies. After teaching elementary school for many years, I moved up to the secondary level to teach English and absolutely loved working with middle-school students.

 

After teaching for several years in smaller schools, I began working for Mineral Wells ISD in 2018 at Mineral Wells Junior High. During my time here, I received my Master's of Education degree in Administration from Lamar University. I am excited to get to know and help support junior high students through this point in their education.
