Parent Expectation for the District Mandatory School Closure

Dear Parent or Guardian,
During the week of November 30th-December 4th, your child will be required to login and complete daily assignments and/or attendance forms in all 8 Google Classrooms during the district mandatory school closure.  The front office and teachers will be available from 7:30am-3:30pm daily. Teachers will also host two Zoom or Google Meets each day to answer student questions or concerns.
To receive credit for daily attendance, one of the following daily engagement measures need to be fulfilled by 11:59 pm each day:
1. DAILY progress in a Learning Management System (Classlink or Google Classroom)
2. DAILY progress via teacher-student interaction
3. DAILY completion/submission of assignments from student to teacher (work submitted through Google Classroom, myHRW, etc...)
Please make sure one of these engagement measures are completed each day in all eight (8) classrooms to avoid unnecessary absences. Families can choose not to participate in daily engagement measures and the coding will be changed to an absence.
